As one of our customer-focused Sales Professionals, you will have the satisfaction of knowing you represent a company that is "helping people live safer, more secure lives" through premier risk management services. The Group Benefits Associate Account Representative position will act as an apprentice to successful Benefits Advisors. The Group Benefits Associate Account Representative will work with the Field Trainer and Director Of Sales/Sales Managers to learn the products/services, policies and procedures in Wausau Signature Agency (WSA). The AAR will also participate in an extensive training program that includes working with the employee benefits carriers that WSA utilizes, job shadows the Benefits Account Mangers and Benefits Advisors, participating in employee enrollment meeting and in sales/renewal presentations. After successfully completing this assignment, which typically takes - 24 months, the employee may become an Account Representative with production, new business, and renewal responsibilities and participate in a sales incentive plan.
Responsibilities:
* Completes required system and classroom training
* Obtains required licenses
* Become efficient with and utilize all software and information systems.
* With assigned Benefits Advisors- actively prospects for new clients; solicitation and creation of quality submissions; develop business relationships; participates in client meetings and analyze customer needs and make recommendations
* Job shadow various positions within the company
* Participates in Sales/Marketing meetings

Requirements |
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent or 1-2 years of sales experience
* Effective written and verbal skills including presentation, persuasion and negotiation skills.
* A general knowledge of insurance products as well as sales techniques preferred but not required.
* Ability to meet state licensing requirements to achieve Property & Casualty license.
